The Challenge

Existing website for Cornerstone consisted of poor navigation, lack of useful information and no user flow. Visitors were having a difficult time getting where they needed to be, staying up to date with internal and community events, and finding resources and media.

Result

Putting emphasis on ease of navigation, clear communication of events, and streamlined content integration, the final designs resulted in a cleaner interface and smoother user flow. In addition, there is brand consistency across both digital & print platforms (web, email, social, signage, booklets, etc). Users are able to connect their physical experience and digital experience seamlessly.

Grid Shortcuts

For content-heavy pages the top section acts as traffic control, providing anchored shortcuts to specific sections. Also included is a quick-glance calendar, allowing for clear communication about upcoming classes.

Newsletter

A newsletter is also sent out on the 15th and 30th of each month to keep members in the loop with the happenings at the church.

Navigation

All sub-menu options are revealed on menu click. Main menu items were simplified and reorganized. An "I'm New" resource was added for new visitors.

Brand Consistency

Improvements made to the adherence of brand guidelines, providing more visual consistency across digital and physical platforms.
